Baton Twirling at Zapphire
Our Baton Twirling classes at Zapphire not only focus on teaching children how to have fun and twirl a baton, our classes encourage teamwork, poise, hand-eye coordination, as well as help children build their self-esteem. Students learn baton twirling tricks in class as well as a dance-twirl routine and a parade routine. Students will have an opportunity
to show off their skills at local events and competitions. Parents are invited to the studio once a term to watch their child perform.
Miss Ellie - Baton Instructor
Miss Ellie joined us this Summer at our Cirque Du Zapphire Workshops and absolutely blew us all away! We met Ellie in February 2020 when she was set to join our team but sadly due to Covid we had to delay her starting with us.
Ellie started Baton Twirling at the age of 4 years with her local troupe. Ellie has toured in many shows and competitions in the UK and has stared in programmes including ‘Dancing On Ice’ and MTV’s Plain Jane with her Baton Twirling Routines.
