We have an incredibly dedicated and talented staff at Zapphire School Of Dance. Each instructor is highly skilled and educated in their field and has extensive experience working with a variety of age groups. The entire staff takes great care in creating age-appropriate classes where each student receives individualized instruction and attention.

Charlotte trained at Italia Conti Arts Centre receiving a scholarship in 2009. To further her experience in Dance, Music & Drama, Charlotte studied at Chichester University gaining her teacher training diploma before returning home to train with ‘Dream Dance Academy London’, gaining her Associates Teaching & Anatomy & Physiology Diploma (Hons)
with the International Dance Teachers Association.
Charlotte has performed with Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship International & teaches private singing lessons weekly through Zapphire. Charlotte teaches singing at Reigate School and is a Music Teach at Yattendon Primary School. Charlotte works as a dance teacher at Trinity Oaks C of E Primary School, Horley Infant School & 100 Acre-wood Pre-School in Redhill.
Charlotte has had the opportunity to work for professional west-end and theatre productions and has experience working with children and adults at the Orpheus Centre in Godstone.
Charlotte has been a vocal director at 'Star for a Night' run by Reigate and Banstead Council.
Charlotte is a fully qualified Cheer Coach with the UKCA and head coach for Zapphire 'Elite Team' & Zapphire Cheer Squad and is qualified Aerial Sling Instructor with Spin City!
Miss Beth has been with Zapphire since January 2022 teaching at Lime Tree Primary School and as a special guest instructors for our glee club Thursday's.
Since Graduating from Laine Theatre Arts (Foundation) and The Urdang Academy (First Class Honors Degree), Beth has had the greatest privilege of performing in productions such as: Broken Wings West End (Theatre Royal Haymarket) Oklahoma! (The Gordon Craig Theatre) Broken Wings Workshop (The Other Palace) Aladdin (Pantomime) Broken Wings (International Tour) Umm Kulthum (The London Palladium) Ps I’m a Terrible Person (The Cockpit Theatre) Choreography: Cats (Dawson Youth Theatre)
Beth completed a qualification in Pilates during lockdown and now teaches a pilates class at Zapphire & runs her own business.
Beth will join us for more classes in the spring and has been given a head of administration job with Zapphire working together with Charlotte to arrange West-End specialist workshops for children age 10-16 years and organising our next production and competition.

MISS SHELLEY
DANCE TEACHER

Miss Shelley has been teaching at Zapphire for 8 years and is a lead teacher at the company.
Shelley started dancing at the age of 6 at a London based dance school, training in Tap, Ballet, Modern and Street Jazz. She continued with her dance exams under the NATD board to get to intermediate levels in Tap and Ballet with the majority of ballet grades achieving distinction, and her teachers qualification in modern in 2014.
During her training and for a little while after she qualified, Miss Shelley assisted with Ballet and Modern classes for beginners to advanced. Preparing students for annual shows at her previous dance school of 14 years. Miss Shelley assisted with the shows, taking part in the performances at a stage guide for the Baby Ballets and Hip Hops. Miss Shelley helped backstage on show nights and in rehearsals. Since recently moving to Surrey, Miss Shelley volunteered as assistant choreography for the Ockley and Capel 2015 pantomime, where she met Miss Charlotte.
Cherelle has been dancing since the age of 4, and since then has trained in ISTD Ballet, Modern and Tap, as well as Contemporary, Jazz, Commercial, Hip Hop and Heels Choreography. Over the years Cherelle has performed at theatres including Royal Albert Hall, Her Majesty’s and Sadler’s Wells, as well as smaller, local theatres. Cherelle has a BA (Hons) degree in Dance Education from Canterbury Christ Church University, and spent her final year of university being the President of the university Dance Society.
Miss Cherelle's teaching at Zapphire is at Royal Alexandra and Albert School. Cherelle will also be teaching Commercial dance at the school and After School Clubs at Trinity Oaks.

MISS CHERELLE

Hannah is trained in Dance and Musical Theatre as well as Aerial and graduated from London Studio Centre with a Ba (Hons) in Dance.
Since graduating she has worked professionally as a dancer both in the UK and abroad.
Hannah’s been doing aerial for 4 years and in 2017 completed the foundation and professional level training courses at My Aerial home in London. Hannah specialises in Aerial Hoop but also has training in Silks, Sling, Rope and Trapeze. More recently Hannah has been teaching Aerial Hoops and silks to children.

Miss Ellie started Baton Twirling at the age of 4 years with her local troupe. Ellie has toured in many shows and competitions in the UK and has stared in programmes including ‘Dancing On Ice’ and MTV’s Plain Jane with her Baton Twirling Routines.
Miss Ellie joins us for many of our workshops and Summer Schools and teaches Baton Twirling at Zapphire on Tuesday's

Daisy is a freelance dance teacher based in London. She has recently graduated from the Guildford School Of Acting with a BA Hons in Dance, which gave her the opportunity to be the ballet teacher for Surrey Dance Squad and compete nationwide.
Daisy has trained and completed all her ISTD grades in ballet, jazz, tap, and modern theatre. Daisy's passion lies with ballet teaching and is working towards her ISTD DDE in ballet so she can enter students into exams. Daisy is a qualified Acrobatic Arts dance teacher and has a foundation yoga teaching qualification with YogaLondon.
Daisy is our lead teacher on Friday's at Trinity Oaks Primary School teaching Ballet, Tap, Acro & Streey Dance.
